Lair No. 3 of the Rascals, Rogues, and Rapscallions held its fourth quarter 2021 meeting on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church barn. It was the 35th Mass Challenge competition. This year's challenge, proposed by Lair Director Calvin Morrison, was to produce a poem. Added to the mix this year was the James Buchanan Prize, named after the only US President from Pennsylvania, for the worst entry. Taking the Jon Landgraf medal this year was Hayes Lewis and walking off with the James Buchanan Prize was Calvin Morrison. Everyone who attended the meeting, whether in person or online, participated by reading their poem. In addition to the entries from the 20 men present at the meeting, there were also entries sent in by Woody Cunningham, Timons Esaias, Lee Wolfson. All entries, whether presented in-person, on-line, or in abstentia, were given equal consideration in the voting. Copies of the chapbook of poems presented that night are available from the archivist for $10 postpaid.
